What this site does
NFT Marketplace AU maintains a structured registry of NFT marketplaces. Every profile and comparison table on this site is generated from that registry — the same underlying data, not hand-written claims.
What goes in a record
Each marketplace record carries: status, supported chains, asset categories, its fee structure (with a link to the marketplace’s own fee page), royalty model, custody model, buyer/seller formats, wallet requirements, Australian relevance (AUD support, fiat on-ramps), and a legitimacy section covering operating history, known incidents and scam-pattern notes.
Sourcing rules
- A fee figure cites the marketplace’s own published fee page wherever one exists. Where it doesn’t, we cite dated secondary sources and say so.
- A marketplace can only be listed with at least one working source URL.
- If a fee cannot be expressed as a single number (tiered, protocol-level, mint-fee models), the comparison table shows a dash rather than a made-up percentage. The profile carries the real structure.
Verification dates
Every record has a last verified date and a next review date. Records due for re-verification display a dated notice instead of presenting stale data as current. Cadence: active venues every 90 days, degraded 60, sunset 180, shut down 365, unresolved 30.
What we don’t do
- We don’t rank by hype, volume claims, or who pays us.
- We don’t publish records we can’t source.
- Affiliate relationships (when they exist) never affect inclusion, ordering, or reported facts. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Corrections
Fees and marketplace policies change often. If you spot something out of date, use the Contact page — dated corrections are a feature of the directory, not an embarrassment.
